The 17th Annual Bluebirds and Bluegrass Festival was held on Saturday, April 22nd at Dauset Trails Nature Center, located at 360 Mount Vernon Church Road near the Indian Springs Community. An annual community tradition, the festival drew lovers of Bluegrass Music from all over Georgia to this family friendly event held on the expansive grounds of the nature center.

The festival featured outdoor music from Johnny Roquemore and the Apostles of Bluegrass, Cabin Point and Grassville, as well as Dulcimer Jam Sessions and a variety of outdoor activities. Wildlife encounters, demonstrations, activities for kids and more were also on the ticket, which just happened to be completely FREE..all one had to do was come and enjoy it!
